Wheelchair Adventures
Welcome to the Wheelchair Adventures website. On these pages you will find lots of information on a wide variety of subjects. Many of these subjects offer advice and information for people who have some sort of spinal injury, but I'm sure that others may also find it useful. In particular there is a fair bit of info about Handbiking and Skiing for wheelchair users. Non wheelchair users should not be put off at all by this content as there is plenty of information and contact references for them too. If you have any questions that you think I may be able to help you with please don't hesitate to drop me a line. I'll help if I can or try to point you in the right direction.

Views and/or opinions of any groups, organisations or companies named on this website are entirely my own, and likewise any images or logos used may not necessarily be the official ones normally used by them. If any such content offends either you or your company or organisation please contact me via the on site e-mail reply form and it will be removed or changed at your request.

I have written most of the HTML myself using WebEdit just for the 'View with Browser' function button. I have tried to make the site viewable with most of todays browsers and have therefore kept away from a lot of the latest technology for that purpose. In the future I do plan to provide a more 'Techie' version along with a text only option. At the end of the day I reckon this site probably looks best on my monitor :-) You'll find that some parts of the site are still under construction, and you may come across a broken link occasionally, or reference to a link that will be put in later. If you find the white background a bit bright for your eyes I suggest you turn down the brightness on your monitor. I hope none of this detracts too much from your enjoyment.

If you are interested in art I recommend you try out my art page. The links on the page lead to what is, in my opinion, the best art site on the Web. You will find full screen images that download in seconds and there is a huge amount of information.

The content of this Website is intended to inform, entertain and - if you are a wheelchair user - inspire you to get out and have a go at some of the activities mentioned in these pages. This web site is suitable for all age groups. There is nothing shocking or in bad taste, I'm sorry if that disappoints you. I would greatly appreciate some feedback from you on the contents and useability of the site. Please, please, please make an entry in my guestbook, even if you just say hello, it will only take you a couple of seconds. It would also be a good idea to bookmark this page right now - go on -you know it makes sense! Most graphics used have been created by me, and I have processed the photo images myself to make them suitable for the Web. I hope they look alright for you. Enjoy your visit.

PS. This site was originally called 'Caught in the Web', thats where the spider comes from. Try clicking on him and see what happens!
